Meghan is a relative newcomer to the land of FI. Prior to learning about the FIRE movement, she was enjoying “mini-retirements” throughout her 20s and 30s in which she’d work hard for several months to save up for extended cross-globe adventures until the bank account ran dry.
It wasn’t until Meghan was in her mid-30s that she learned about the true meaning of financial independence and finally started her journey to FI.
Meghan lives with her partner Callan and dog Wiley in the foothills of the Colorado Front Range. She’s often found deep in nearby forested canyons playing on granite or exploring one of the countless trails in the foothills with her pup.

Jeff has been working on financial independence for about a decade. He has been an avid reader of Mr. Money Mustache and investing in index funds since his mid-20. Jeff currently considers himself FI-lite. This means he and his partner, Rose, can live off their investments indefinitely but enjoys having some supplemental income to make it comfortable.
Jeff is currently working to figure out:
- what life looks like post-retirement,
- optimize his tax situation, and
- work on passion projects with his friends!
Jeff and Rose live in the Colorado Front Range, but are currently working to relocate to slow travel around Europe. In addition to romantic walks on the beach, Jeff enjoys trail running, road cycling, and rock climbing.
