First, welcome! I’m psyched that you’re ready to start digging into your financial life, whatever that may look like for you!
Financial coaching is all about meeting you where you are, whether that means you’re ready to confront debt, get real about your spending habits, or just organize all your various financial puzzle pieces so you can start to feel like you know what the hell is going on with your money.
My goal is to help you iron out your financial life so you can feel confident and excited about your money. I believe that getting good with money can transform your life—because it happened for me.
Testimonial
I didn’t think I had enough money that learning about my finances and investing would matter. I was so wrong. Having a financial coaching session with Meghan was super informative but more importantly, it was empowering. She guided me to think about my money differently than I ever have and I left feeling excited, informed, and ready to get my money working for me!

Get started
To get started, we’ll book a free intro call to see if financial coaching is right for you. We can talk about your goals, what your biggest pain point is with your finances, and whether I’m the right person to help you.
If we choose to work together, each session is one hour and costs $115. When we meet, we’ll start by taking a deep dive into your current situation. You can share as little or as much as you want—for some folks, financial coaching is all about digging into money mindset and exploring how to make changes. For others, it’s about strategizing for paying off debt, setting up an emergency fund, or learning how to grow wealth. And for some, it’s literally all of the above.
After our call, you’ll receive a follow-up document outlining what we talked about and with next steps to help you get the most out of your own financial game plan.

About Meghan
Hello! I’m Meghan, a personal finance writer and financial coach. I’m a firm believer in the power of learning “how to money”—it’s been transformative in my own life, which is why I’m eager to help people find success and happiness in feeling financially secure.
Here’s my money story:
I used to call myself a “money minimalist.” I adopted the phrase at the height of the minimalist movement, and I thought I’d cracked some code about how to live. I would hustle and work my ass off for six months, then abandon all my responsibilities and move to another country for as long as I could afford it. I called these forays my “mini retirements,” and I thought I would always live that way.
That feast-or-famine way of living started to wear me down when I hit my early 30s. My husband and I had just poured every last cent of our savings into buying and building out a 2007 Sprinter van. We lived in our van for six months—surviving on my fairly minimal income at the time—until we settled in Boulder, CO. That’s when things really changed.
Here’s what happened:
1. Selling the van gave us enough cash to pay off our high-interest credit cards and personal loan. We also paid off my student loans, which were around $20k.
2. I got a full-time job, and started hustling on the side to make extra cash. That helped us dig out of our debt.
3. We met close friends who taught us about financial independence (hello, Rose and Jeff!) and I felt my financial insecurity melt away as I devoured every book and podcast I could get my hands on. We amassed a positive net worth, and learned how to invest.
Knowing financial independence was possible—even though I hadn’t started investing until I was in my mid-30s—lit a fire under me that continues to motivate me to this day. I started investing upwards of 75% of my income, and still do today.
This is what I want for you. No matter what your current financial hurdle may be, I’m confident that working together will help you chart a course toward security and confidence. And I’m excited to help you get there.
